Canada Project of the Year | Solar Builder Magazine December 2025
Ready Solar Inc was awarded Solar Builder’s inaugural Canada Project of the Year Award for the Estrada House in Vancouver, British Columbia, a milestone achievement recognizing innovation in Canadian residential solar.
The 25 kW system was designed across 18 individual roof planes, requiring advanced layout planning and careful execution. Using Aurora Solar design tools, bifacial Longi Hi-MO 7 panels, APsystems microinverters, and a versatile racking solution from S-5! and Kinetic Rack, the system was engineered to produce approximately 26,000 kWh annually, significantly offsetting the homeowner’s energy costs while supporting future battery storage and EV charging.
The award highlights the project’s thoughtful system design and the level of planning required to successfully deliver solar on a uniquely complex residential structure.
